CAXDC1004 Making 2: Respond, Interpret and Transform
This course builds directly on and extends CAXDC 1002 Making 1. Visual Arts and Communication Design disciplines share foundational visual elements, principles and common approaches to problem solving. As both disciplines require and develop discrete thinking skills, aesthetic concepts and means of production, this course engages more deeply in the materials and practice of your choice. Through studio-based projects, you will respond to certain themes, researching and project management from concept to finished artefact. Regular reporting on project stages to peers will occur, developing professional skills of self-critique and peer review of works-in-progress.
