BUHRM6930 Change Agent Strategies
The main goal of this course is to provide theoretical and practical knowledge on the role of external and internal change agents. The course provides students with frameworks to determine the need for change and the strategies and techniques for developing, initiating, managing and evaluating change programs. This course enables students to think differently about the role of both organisational change and learning organisations within current business, public sector and non-profit organisations. The interactive workshop format places emphasis on the process of collaboration, self-reflection, diagnosis and consultation. The results are then examined for their ability to be successfully utilised in contemporary organisations. The course focusses on three primary themes: managing change, the role of change agents and the value of learning organisations in facilitating successful change management strategies.
