This course involves an examination of businesses and other organisations in Australia and their contribution to local communities. Participants study various facets of local, regional, state and national businesses/organisations to gain a better understanding of what role their workplace can play in building and maintaining sustainable business-community links. Further, those sustainable business-community links will be explored in the context of good corporate governance, business ethics, corporate social responsibility, sustainability and the United Nations (UN) 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs).
