BUCLP5901 Exploring Business
This course involves an examination of businesses and other organisations in Australia and their contribution to local communities. Participants study various facets of local, regional, state and national businesses/organisations to gain a better understanding of what role their workplace can play in building and maintaining sustainable business-community links. Further, those sustainable business-community links will be explored in the context of good corporate governance, business ethics, corporate social responsibility, sustainability and the United Nations (UN) 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs). Participants will reflect upon how they, as individuals, can lead their organisation in building sustainable business-community links.
