BSHSP2006 Managing Financial Operations and Assets
"This course embeds two units of competency from the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality: BSBFIM601A: Manage finances and SITXFIN601: Manage physical assets. This course builds on the previous accounting and financial management knowledge and skills gained from BSHSP1012 Finance Fundamentals and BSHSP2002 Budget Fundamentals. It further develops knowledge in the area of budget management and will expand the student¿s capacity to analyse and respond to financial information. In addition, the course then examines the systems and practices require for effective management of an organisation¿s physical assets including the accounting approaches used to evaluate asset purchases."
