BSHSP2003 Managing Diversity
"This course embeds two units of competency from the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality: BSBDIV501A: Manage diversity in the workplace and SITXHRM402: Lead and manage people. Building on BSHSP1013 Staff Supervision, this course explores the benefits and challenges of developing, maintaining and managing an effective, diverse workforce. Drawing on the many theories of management and leadership, this course will examine the ways in which a diverse workforce can lead to competitive advantage, while considering innovative solutions to the challenges that diversity presents. The importance of legal and ethical issues in relation to workforce planning will also be explored."
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).

Grandfathered contribution amount - if you are a continuing student, who commenced your course before 1 January 2021, you will continue paying the same amount as you would have, had legislative reforms not been implemented, for any units that would otherwise have an increased student contribution amount.
