BSHSP1016 Accommodation Service Principles
"This course embeds two units of competency from the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality: - SITHACS303: Provide accommodation reception services and - SITHACS302: Conduct night audit. It will introduce students to the Accommodation sub-sector of the hospitality industry and the inter-relationships that exist with other sub-sectors and with other departments within the same organisation. Specifically it will focus on the operations of the Front Office department and its role in the guest service cycle, from arrival to departure."
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
