BSHSP1012 Finance Fundamentals
"This course embeds the unit of competency from the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality: SITXFIN401: Interpret Financial Information. As the first of a sequence of four accounting and finance-related courses in the Bachelor of Hospitality (Management), Finance Fundamentals seeks to develop the accounting building-blocks required for the development of astute hospitality managers. It will introduce students to the key accounting concepts and terminology, develop their knowledge of the major financial statements and establish the groundwork required for using financial information as part of the management decision-making process."
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
