BEHAV5001 Human Behaviour in the Modern World

This course provides an introduction to understanding human behaviour and, as such, considers a range of psychological concepts that have direct application to everyday life and adjustment to the modern world. Topics include stress and health, psychological disorders and therapies, motivation, emotion, and behaviour change. Students will be encouraged to apply the topics to their own lives and act as their own case studies. Taking a critical, scientific approach, students also explore how human behaviour can be changed.

Postgraduate Clinical Psychology and Professional Pathway CSP unit fees

For Psychology band units, the student contribution amount is based on the Field of Education code and your enrolled course. Only approved courses qualify for Psychology fee bands.

This fee band is for Psychology units (Field of Education code 90701) studied in the Master of Psychology (Clinical).

This fee band is for Behavioural Science units (Field of Education code starting with 0907) studied in the Bachelor of Psychological Science or Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours).

Students enrolled in courses not approved for these fees will pay the standard student contribution above. Bachelor of Community and Human Services, Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work students undertaking units with 0907 FOE codes are not eligible for Professional Pathway fees. Domestic full fee–paying places

A domestic full fee–paying place is one that isn’t subsidised by the Australian Government. These places are offered to postgraduate students or those who are ineligible for a CSP.
