BAHRS4033 Advanced Theory for Honours Students
The course examines a range of theoretical approaches relevant to the Humanities, Social Sciences and Creative Arts. The emphasis of this course is on the interdisciplinary relevance of a variety of theoretical approaches. The course includes interdisciplinary topics and discipline-specific material. Sub-topics may include culture, ideology, subjectivity, postmodernism, non-western ontologies, difference, post-colonialism, nature and technology, as relevant to the disciplinary area of study. Work of a number of key thinkers will be examined.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).

Grandfathered contribution amount - if you are a continuing student, who commenced your course before 1 January 2021, you will continue paying the same amount as you would have, had legislative reforms not been implemented, for any units that would otherwise have an increased student contribution amount.
