Equity and inclusion support
We’re proud of our diverse community and work hard to make sure everyone is respected with equal opportunity to succeed and be themselves.

What we can help you with
We’ll work with you to make reasonable adjustments, so you can take part in your studies on the same basis as everyone else.
Your chosen name or gender might be different from your legal ID. We’ll help you update your ID card, email address and display name on key systems.
Across our campuses, you’ll find inclusive student spaces including parent rooms, low-sensory quiet rooms, prayer rooms, the Q Space and more.
If you’ve seen or experienced behaviour that doesn’t feel right, we’re here to help. We'll listen, offer support and guide you through your options.
Support for care experienced students
Have you spent time in out-of-home care, including foster, kinship, residential or permanent care? See how we can support you with enrolment, scholarship, mentoring and more.

Our commitment
Read the Respectful and Inclusive Communities Action Plan to see how we’re working to ensure equal opportunity and freedom from discrimination, harassment and gender-based violence.
Equity and safety policies
We welcome the implementation of the National Higher Education Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender-based Violence and are developing a new Gender-based Violence Prevention and Response Plan scheduled for 2026.
We also have a number of policies and procedures in place to protect your rights and guide your actions if something happens.
