Biography
Dr Zeb Leonard is a lecturer in criminology and criminal justice. His research interests include aspects of our history shape our definitions and views on crime and behaviour held to be deviant. This invites similar considerations of laws both domestic and international, as well as societal reactions to perceived transgressions. Another area of focus is the consideration of the relationship between behaviour and perceptions of “national interest”. A final area of interest is the genealogy of public discourses as linked to crime, for example in terms of the establishment and perpetuation of myths and misperceptions.
