Biography
Mrs Sheba Joseph is a lecturer in Nursing whose work focuses on improving patient experiences within healthcare settings. Sheba is passionate about supporting nursing students to develop strong professional skills, clinical confidence and compassionate approaches to patient care.
Before joining Federation, Sheba worked as a registered nurse and as a clinical educator in acute care settings, where daily interactions with patients and families shaped a strong commitment to person-centred care.
Sheba’s current research interests centre on understanding how nursing education can better prepare students for complex clinical environments. As an emerging researcher, Sheba is particularly interested in strategies that enhance communication, empathy and professionalism among nursing students to improve patient experiences and healthcare outcomes.
