Biography

Liam (Leigh) Frost-Camilleri is a lecturer in the Federation Access Studies (FAST) program, the Master of Teaching and the Bachelor of Adult and Vocational Education and Training at Federation University Australia. An early career researcher, Leigh’s research interests include educational equity, vocational education and training, and neurodivergence in tertiary institutions. Leigh was the recipient of the 2024 NAEEA National Excellence in Teaching for his work in enabling education. 

Leigh has presented at various conferences, including for the National Centre for Vocational Education Research, Australian Vocational Education and Training Research Association, Australian Council of Deans of Education Vocational Education Group and the Skills Highway Forum in New Zealand. 

Leigh has worked as a secondary school teacher (both private and public), primary school teacher, TAFE instructor and in higher education for over 17 years. He is currently completing his PhD studies in second chance education and student re-engagement.
