Biography

Dr Emma Price is a senior lecturer of Learning and Teaching in the Institute of Education, Arts and Community. She provides academic leadership in curriculum quality, assessment design and learning and teaching enhancement, working closely with academic staff to support effective, inclusive and sustainable educational practice. 

Emma specialises in tertiary education and learning and teaching professional development, and has extensive experience in course leadership, curriculum review and quality assurance processes.  

Her research focuses on enhancing tertiary education by exploring transitions to synchronous and asynchronous learning environments and critically examining established paradigms in higher education pedagogy. This work informs her academic development practice and contributes to evidence‑informed approaches to teaching and learning. 

Emma has held senior learning and teaching roles across central and faculty‑based contexts and contributes to university‑wide learning and teaching initiatives.
