Scholarship details
The Partner Scholarship is designed to support international students who transfer from Federation partner offshore locations to Australia to complete their studies or begin a new degree. Recipients will get a 20% tuition fee discount.
Terms and conditions
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
- be an international student transferring from a Federation offshore delivery partner or an international student who has completed XCore units with Employability.Life
- be eligible to study in Australia with a valid visa
- have completed (or be in the process of completing) an approved Federation University course or a non-award short course that is formally recognised for credit towards a Federation University degree at an approved Federation University offshore partner institution
- be enrolling onshore at a Federation University Australian campus to complete the same course or commence a new eligible Federation University course.
- Applicants must be transferring from an approved Federation University transnational education delivery partner or via the Employability.Life channel.
- Applicants must be enrolled at a Federation University campus onshore in Australia, studying applicable undergraduate or postgraduate coursework.
- The scholarship will be calculated on the full tuition fee for each unit and the number of enrolled units during each semester.
- If an awardee is approved for compassionate or compelling leave from studies for a semester, the scholarship will be reinstated on their return to study.
- The scholarship is non-refundable and will not be transferred to a cash amount.
- If an awardee withdraws from the course, they will forfeit the scholarship.
- The scholarship cannot be deferred for commencement.
This scholarship is awarded in instalments, with the first instalment awarded to successful recipients at the time of offer. Ongoing scholarship instalments will be allocated to awardee’s student fee account prior to census date each semester.
The University regards any decision in relation to these scholarships as final and will not entertain any appeal.
