Acceptance of the bursary constitutes a commitment to reside in university accommodation for the full duration of two semesters.

Students who extend their stay for a further full academic year (two consecutive semesters) may be eligible for a 25% discount on standard accommodation rates for year two, subject to availability and continued compliance with university and accommodation requirements (see condition 9 for details).

Prospective international students will automatically be assessed for an offer of an
accommodation bursary to support living in the universityʼs accommodation (Fedliving) at the time they receive an offer to study at the university. This will be at the discretion of Federation University Australia and subject to accommodation availability.

Bursary recipients must register with Fedliving accommodation services via the Fedliving Portal to activate the bursary offer.

A bursary may be awarded but is not guaranteed until officially confirmed by the
accommodation provider and upon payment of the $550 acceptance fee

Room preferences are selected as part of the accommodation application process.
