Skills Networks
Skills Networks comprise Industry Advisory Groups that meet regularly to offer advice about industry trends and the skills students will need to gain employment.
You can’t co-op without getting together for the occasional chat. This is where Skills Networks comes in. It’s the umbrella that all the Industry Advisory Groups sit under.
So – what are the Industry Advisory Groups? Good question. These align with specific sectors – like manufacturing and health – and help connect education and industry. Each group is made up of 10–20 organisations that meet twice a year to provide vital subject matter expertise and advice.
We're trying to achieve:
- better education and employment outcomes
- stonger research partnerships
- greater opportunity for students to learn the skills that industries need.
