Roads to Reconciliation

Read about our Roads to Reconciliation project and how we worked with multicultural communities in areas of reconciliation, truth and justice.

Activating multicultural Victoria

Multicultural communities play a vital role in Australia, and this project recognises the importance of supporting them to take part in the reconciliation conversation. We worked to build understanding, strengthen partnerships with First Nations leaders, and encourage communities to learn and act together.

Our project team

Established by the National Centre for Reconciliation, Truth and Justice and funded by the Victorian Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, the project was led by Adjunct Senior Research Fellows Maria Dimopoulos AM and Shankar Kasynatha. Our team worked closely with local governments, community services and the people who live, study and work in multicultural communities.
