National Centre for Reconciliation, Truth and Justice

We lead international, national and regional understandings and engagements in reconciliation, truth and justice. The National Centre was established in February 2023 by Professor Andrew Gunstone, Associate Deputy Vice‑Chancellor Reconciliation. Our work spans community, academic and industry settings through research, education, outreach and advocacy.

Our research projects
We’ve been working with partners across community, industry, government and academia since 2013 to support transformational change in reconciliation, truth and justice. One of our key research projects, Roads to Reconciliation, supports multicultural communities to take part in the reconciliation conversation. Read more about its impact and how we’re preparing to take this work national.
