Federation University launches free period underwear initiative to support student wellbeing 

Federation University students can now access free period underwear as part of a new wellbeing initiative designed to support menstrual health, reduce financial stress and improve access to essential care. 

  

Delivered by Fed Wellbeing in partnership with Share the Dignity, the program provides students with free period underwear as well as free period products through on-campus vending machines. 

  

The initiative responds to growing cost-of-living pressures affecting students and recognises the impact menstrual health can have on wellbeing, class attendance and academic success. 

  

Students can request free period underwear by completing a confidential online form. 

   

While Federation University has provided free period products through wellbeing services and campus support locations, the addition of free period underwear expands the support available to students.
