The Albert Coates Complex is a modern space with a relaxed, welcoming feel. It’s a great fit for conference dinners, wedding receptions and other special occasions. The space can be set up as one large area or divided into up to four sections, with options to suit groups of 60 to 300 guests.

What’s included:

  • Built‑in audio‑visual in the dining area
  • Optional stage and dance floor for presentations, entertainment or celebrations
  • A fully licensed bar, with pay‑as‑you‑go or set drinks packages available.

Our location

You’ll find the Albert Coates Complex at our Mt Helen Campus in Ballarat, in Building U. It’s located beside the library, with the main courtyard on one side and the lake on the other, surrounded by beautiful native bushland.

How to book

Federation staff
Submit a booking request through the Service Hub. To help us prepare, please book with a minimum two weeks notice.
External customers
Complete the online form and we’ll be in touch to confirm availability, discuss set‑up and arrange a tour.
