SCCOR4212 RESEARCH THESIS P/T
This course is based on an individual research thesis undertaken under the guidance of a research supervisor(s). Students will conduct independent research within a designated, specialised area of science under the guidance of one or more supervisors. Students will conduct a final seminar, presenting and interpreting results of the research. A scientific paper or poster, based on the research, will be prepared or an oral presentation will be given to a professional group. Students will write a (maximum 20 000 word) research thesis, guided by the supervisor(s), and present two copies for examination.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).

Grandfathered contribution amount - if you are a continuing student, who commenced your course before 1 January 2021, you will continue paying the same amount as you would have, had legislative reforms not been implemented, for any units that would otherwise have an increased student contribution amount.
