PSYCB2104 Social Psychology

This unit is designed to enable students to develop an awareness and understanding of social psychological concepts, methods and research. The unit will cover a range of topics, including perception of other people, attitudes and attitude change, group behaviour, social influence, behaviour at work, the impact of the physical environment, and social psychology as an academic endeavour. Unit content is delivered through a combination of lectures, classes, and theoretical text readings, and supplemented by online resources.

For Psychology band units, the student contribution amount is based on the Field of Education code and your enrolled course. Only approved courses qualify for Psychology fee bands.

This fee band is for Behavioural Science units (Field of Education code starting with 0907) studied in the Bachelor of Psychological Science or Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours).

Students enrolled in courses not approved for these fees will pay the standard student contribution above. Bachelor of Community and Human Services, Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work students undertaking units with 0907 FOE codes are not eligible for Professional Pathway fees. Domestic full fee–paying places

A domestic full fee–paying place is one that isn’t subsidised by the Australian Government. These places are offered to postgraduate students or those who are ineligible for a CSP.
