OEEDU2100 Journeys in Outdoor and Environmental Education
This course prepares students for participation in an extended journey in a remote area. Students are exposed to the variety of equipment, techniques and the necessary risk management and emergency response procedures required for safe travel in remote areas. Students explore the relevant theoretical foundations underpinning journey based outdoor education. Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
