NURBN3001 Evidence-based Healthcare Practice

This Course is designed to consolidate evidence-based healthcare practice and research techniques in the clinical environment and enable students to explore clinical issues and plan care. In order to provide the highest quality of nursing care, it is essential to develop research skills to address clinical issues, utilising critical analysis techniques. The Course will demonstrate the practical application of vidence-based healthcare practice and research strategies in order to address complex and multidisciplinary clinical issues. Students will be expected to explore research strategies, both qualitative and quantitative, in order to investigate clinical issues, develop a research proposal, and utilise evidence-based practice as well as critically reviewing the literature. The Course will enable students to consolidate their research skills, which can be incorporated into research evidence to inform nursing practice.

Commonwealth supported place (CSP)

Domestic full fee–paying places
