NHPOT2013 Psycho-emotional Determinants of Occupation
This unit will provide students with a thorough understanding of the psycho-emotional factors of human performance and how they influence engagement in occupation. The role of the occupational therapist in empowering engagement in occupation through psycho-emotional factors through assessment, measurement and enabling strategies will be the focus of this course. This unit draws upon first year occupational therapy, life span development and cognitive-neurological determinants of occupation. The purpose of this unit is for students to develop professional skills and competencies in assessment, measurement intervention planning and implementation of enabling strategies to address personal psycho-emotional factors on engagement in occupation.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).

Grandfathered contribution amount - if you are a continuing student, who commenced your course before 1 January 2021, you will continue paying the same amount as you would have, had legislative reforms not been implemented, for any units that would otherwise have an increased student contribution amount.
