ITECH7409 Software Testing
This unit equips students with the knowledge and skills required to plan, document and undertake testing from the initial stages of software requirements through to the to the final testing of a fully implemented software system. Topics may include an overview of testing, test levels and test types, the testing lifecycle and methodologies, critical analysis of software requirements and proposed solutions, testing scoping and approaches that may be used, non-functional testing, development of test artefacts, defect identification, logging, tracking and reporting, along with future trends in software development and the implication this may have on the test.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).

Grandfathered contribution amount - if you are a continuing student, who commenced your course before 1 January 2021, you will continue paying the same amount as you would have, had legislative reforms not been implemented, for any units that would otherwise have an increased student contribution amount.
