ITECH3502 Project

The project unit will give the student authentic experience working in a self-directed team toward the development of a solution to an information technology problem. This unit uses an agile development approach and involves working with a client and possibly other stakeholders to establish goals, create user stories then work collaboratively to complete work to realise the project vision. Students will negotiate deliverables and outcomes based on the project vision and client's priorities. At the end of semester, students will present their deliverables in a poster/trade fair style presentation. Students will apply authentic industry practices, tools and techniques. This is an advanced unit and students are expected to build on the SFIA skills developed in their chosen Major area. This unit involves self-directed and independent exploration and learning of new skills.

2025 grandfathered contribution amount* $1,164

Grandfathered contribution amount - if you are a continuing student, who commenced your course before 1 January 2021, you will continue paying the same amount as you would have, had legislative reforms not been implemented, for any units that would otherwise have an increased student contribution amount.
