ISMAN1002 Sport Event Management
This unit introduces students to the planning, delivery, and evaluation of sport events across a range of contexts. Students will explore the event lifecycle, including conceptualisation, budgeting, logistics, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and post-event reporting. Through a combination of theoretical frameworks and applied learning activities, students will develop an understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in sport event coordination and the broader organisational, legal, and strategic considerations that shape event delivery. The unit prepares students to contribute to sport events in diverse settings, with skills and knowledge that are adaptable to both community and professional environments.
