HEASP4112 Research Honours Project 1 Part A
This is the first part (Part A) in a two-part Honours Research course chain. Within this unit chain students will work independently (with supervision) in completing a research project relevant to a contemporary speech pathology theory or practice issues on a health-related topic. In enacting their research project, students will be required to demonstrate a solid understanding of their research methodology as well as strong organisational and planning skills. In this unit, students will develop a research project with an appropriate methodology to examine an identified research question. They will integrate and communicate research design orally, in a manner accessible to and engaging for a target audience and respond effectively to colleagues and examiners' questions and critique regarding research design.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
