HEACN6002 Cardiac Nursing Practice 2
This is the second cardiac nursing practice course that provides an opportunity for students to continue to examine cardiac practice from the perspective of a strengths-based framework. This will also provide an opportunity to interrogate cardiac practice through nursing assessments, therapeutic interactions with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary team through planning, implementing, and evaluating safe and collaborative cardiac nursing interventions. This course will also facilitate a deeper engagement with opportunities to develop sound clinical reasoning in the holistic care of individual¿s experiencing poor health among cardiac patients and their families.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).

Grandfathered contribution amount - if you are a continuing student, who commenced your course before 1 January 2021, you will continue paying the same amount as you would have, had legislative reforms not been implemented, for any units that would otherwise have an increased student contribution amount.
