HDRHI8824 MPhil Research Project P/T Hi 24

This unit forms part of the Master of Philosophy, providing a structured yet flexible pathway for research candidates to develop expertise while progressing toward key academic milestones. Candidates engage in meaningful inquiry, producing research that advances knowledge within their discipline while situating their findings within a broader scholarly framework.Throughout the unit, candidates receive mentorship and academic support from a supervisory panel of experts, ensuring their research is rigorous, maintains ethical integrity, and aligns with candidature milestones. This guidance facilitates progress across important domains of researcher development, in conjunction with skills development provided by the Graduate Research School.Successful completion of the unit results in a substantial independent research project, demonstrated through the submission and examination of a thesis, or creative works accompanied by an exegesis. The final outcome showcases an advanced, integrated understanding of a complex body of knowledge while demonstrating the candidate¿s ability to critically analyse, synthesise, and contribute original insights to their field. Graduates emerge with advanced research capabilities, preparing them for further academic study or professional research opportunities.
