HCPAR6012 PARAMEDIC CLINICAL DIAGNOSTICS 2
This unit builds upon and extends the knowledge and practical skills developed in Clinical Diagnostics 1 and is closely integrated with Clinical Paramedicine 2. It develops the participant¿s ability to deliver pre-hospital care at Advanced Life Support (ALS) level within contemporary paramedic care models and the practice of Paramedicine, with a specific focus on paediatric, neonatal, and obstetric contexts, including environmental and paediatric medical emergencies. In addition, a strong emphasis is placed on endocrine emergencies (e.g., hypoglycaemia, hyperglycaemia), thyroid storms, and sepsis.
