EDMAS6012 Information Technology Curriculum 1
This unit is designed to enable pre-service teachers to develop critical understandings of the importance of information technologies in relation to school curriculum policies and frameworks in secondary schools. It will enable pre-service teachers to utilise information technology in a range of learning settings. They will design curriculum and examine and implement a range of teaching approaches deriving from emerging technologies. Pre-service teachers will develop their understandings of ethical and social issues involved in using ICT in schools and be able to evaluate the place of Information Technology curriculum in different school contexts.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).

2025 grandfathered contribution amount* $578
Grandfathered contribution amount - if you are a continuing student, who commenced your course before 1 January 2021, you will continue paying the same amount as you would have, had legislative reforms not been implemented, for any units that would otherwise have an increased student contribution amount.
