EDBED4113 Transition to the Profession 2
This unit is the second in the sequence of three Transition to the Profession courses and augments students' exploration of their professional learning and reflection of future learning goals through the development of personal statements and professional documents. Students will engage in learning experiences that provide them with insight into the professional responsibilities, codes of ethics and conduct for the teaching profession. Students will examine the connections between theory and practice, consider the role of policy on professional practice and develop a professional portfolio. The unit also prepares Pre-Service Teachers for their final extended professional experience placement and the expectations of their Teacher Performance Assessment in Transition to the Profession 3.

A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
