CVASP2001 Studio Practice: Printmaking
This course will engage students through theory, methods and processes of printmaking. Through practical demonstrations students' will be guided through Relief, Intaglio, Monotype and other forms of print will be considered. The course will stimulate and involve students to think innovatively and experimentally in the aesthetics of mark making, to pursue visual interpretations, to engage in objective evaluation of final works. Through project based studio activities, students will focus on developing a personal aesthetic to create art works of print, understand the materials and methods of production, the role of presentation, and adoption of health and safety issues within the print studio.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
