BUTSM2601 TOURISM PRODUCTS & SERVICES DELIVERY
This course examines the principles of product and service delivery as they apply to the management of tourism enterprises including attractions. Attractions are defined as the core product of tourism, which draws tourists to a destination or specific site. Attractions can be fixed (natural and man-made) or mobile (special events and festivals). The course therefore will develop suitable frameworks for analysing various attractions. It will also focus on the supporting business, marketing, service delivery and people skills relevant to the managing of tourism businesses. The course will draw on case study material from a wide range of tourism products and services.
