BSMAN2011 FUNDAMENTALS OF ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
This course is designed to introduce students to the principles of organisation development. It will examine the essential components of organisation development plans; organisational structure and who should be involved in organisation development; Change management techniques and relationship to organisation development including: business re-engineering; consultative process; job redesign; organisation redesign; sensitivity training; systems redesign; work re-organisation; consultation and communication strategies to maximise participants in the organisational development process; Students will develop theoretical and technical knowledge enabling demonstration of understanding of organisational development fundamentals, practices and theories. They will critically analyse organisational development plans and discuss strengths and weaknesses of each plan. Students will research and develop an organisational development plan, policy, and procedure and communication strategy related to a current workforce issue.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).

Grandfathered contribution amount - if you are a continuing student, who commenced your course before 1 January 2021, you will continue paying the same amount as you would have, had legislative reforms not been implemented, for any units that would otherwise have an increased student contribution amount.
