The unit is relevant to students wishing to go on to do further research, such as at Honours level, and is also open to any final year student with a desire to engage in self-directed learning. Every student is required to obtain approval from their Course Coordinator prior to enrolling in this unit. Also, before the start of the semester, each student must make contact with an academic in the relevant discipline who agrees to supervise their project.
