Prof Bindi Bennett is a K/Gamilaroi woman, mother, and social worker. Prof Bennett’s primary research interests are in the following areas: social justice; transformational change; growing cultural responsiveness; re-Indigenising Western spaces and curriculum; human social and emotional wellbeing; exploring Indigenous Knowledge Systems in research; and exploring the human-animal bond; natural disasters.
