Professor Singarayer Florentine is a restoration and invasive species ecologist, with more than 22 years of experience in research and higher education teaching. He has been specialising in work on ecologically diverse habitats and has had experience in three different countries. Florry has created very strong industry links and his research significantly influences an area of national priority, i.e. impact ecology. He has an impressive record of attracting competitive and industry-based funding and of publishing his work in the highest globally ranked journals in his field. To date, over $10Million in competitive research grants and industry funding. Florry has published over 150 refereed papers, 10 book Chapters and edited 2 book. He has supervised 20 HDRs and 40 honours students to completion.
