About Thom
In memory of Thom Nugent, a dedicated and passionate young man of 26 who loved the science of nature from an early age which transferred into the study of chemistry and biology in adulthood.
Always striving to be the best he could be, Thom also had a passion for the community in which he lived, selflessly volunteering for Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experiences (AIME), Rotary, Golden Key, and many other causes which supported people less fortunate than himself.
Thom commenced studying the Bachelor of Science at Federation University in 2014.
The Thom Nugent Memorial Scholarship has been established to honour the life of Thom who passed away in November 2016.
