About the Hong Kong Club Vic Inc
The Hong Kong Club (HKC) was established in 1965 by a group of lonely and homesick Hong Kong Students studying in Melbourne and will be celebrating its 60th Anniversary in March 2025.
HKC is a non-profit association incorporated with the Consumer Affairs Victoria. Over the years, they have made donations to various charities such as Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), the Drought Relief Fund for Aussie Farmers, and the Bushfire Appeal (2020). By setting up this “HONG KONG CLUB VIC INC. SCHOLARSHIP’’ with Federation University of Australia, they are hoping the donation could assist students in need. All students undertaking studies at the Ballarat campuses are welcome to apply, with preference to a student who came from Hong Kong or is a descendant of parents from Hong Kong.
