About DCIRS
DCIRS is an organisation local to the Buloke Shire and surrounds. Established in mid 2020 and currently employs 13 locals who provide in-home and community support to NDIS and Aged care home care package recipients.
Keeping things local is a very important element as it allows them, as an organisation, to provide individualised and personalised support to those they work with. Creating local jobs is another important factor.
Their goals are to encourage and support independence, focus on client and participant strengths, develop mutual respect and therapeutic relationships, and to create an environment in which clients and participants can remain at home in their own environment.
