Testamurs

Your testamur is your graduation certificate – an official record of your achievement at University. Find out how to get yours (and what to do if you need a replacement).

You might need to present a copy of your testamur to potential employers or university admin (if you go on to do further study). Or perhaps you'd like to frame your certificate and put it up on your wall as a reminder of your determination and hard work.

Get a hard copy of your testamur

At graduation
You'll be presented with a copy of your testamur when you walk across the stage. You'll also receive a letter of congratulations and your academic transcript.
In person
You can collect your testamur from campus before graduation. Doing this won't prevent you from attending your ceremony (but you won't receive another certificate).
Via post
If you can't attend your graduation ceremony, your testamur can be mailed for $25 (within Australia) or $95 (overseas). Complete and return the form to arrange it.

Access your testamur via eQuals

After your course completion is official, a digital copy of your testamur will be uploaded to My eQuals. You'll then be able to register and log in to view, download and share your certificate.

Replacement testamurs

If need a new testamur, you can purchase a replacement by submitting an Application for Replacement Sealed Certificate / Testamur (PDF 302 KB). This document includes a statutory declaration (which you will need to fill out if your original testamur has been lost or stolen). See our fees webpage for current pricing.

Your replacement testamur will include the words 'This is a replacement testamur' in the body of the certificate.
