Eager to learn more about your course? Excited to explore Berwick Campus, meet new Institute of Education, Arts and Community peers, and enjoy a free lunch? Perfect – check out the schedule below

What to expect at Orientation

Day 1 is all about your course and campus. You'll get to explore your facilities, find out important course information and meet other new students. Days 2 and 3 are dedicated to study skills sessions designed to prepare you for university.

Attendance is compulsory for all students. Don’t forget to bring your student ID number and a laptop if you have one (or a notebook and pen). Our campus is cashless, so plan ahead.

If you can't attend, let us know and we'll make sure you have everything you need to start with confidence.

Day 1: Wednesday 25 February

Day 1 is all about your course and your campus. Start with your Institute Welcome and Course Overview, then explore your facilities, meet other new students, and dive into the fun extras.

Explore the campus with tours running from 1 pm to 5 pm. Campus tours depart every 15 minutes from the Main Quad, and library tours run every 15 minutes from outside the Library.

If you’re a domestic student, you can collect your Student ID card from the library at any point during the day.

Save the date so you’re ready to go.

Day 2: Thursday 26 February

Next up, you’ll sharpen your study skills and get fully prepared for the start of university.
If a session is repeated, just choose the time that suits you best. Add the day to your calendar.

Day 3: Friday 27 February

Day 3 is all about locking in your study skills and catching up on anything you missed so you’re ready to hit the ground running when classes start next week.

If you went to a session yesterday and the same one is on again today, you don’t have to go again. If a session is repeated, just choose the time that suits you best. Add it to your calendar so you don't forget.
