GradWISE program

Get free careers support if you're living with a disability, injury or physical/mental illness.

Living with a disability, injury or physical/mental illness (including anxiety and depression) can make finding work difficult. That’s why we’ve partnered with the GradWISE team to offer a coaching program designed to boost your confidence and employment potential.

Eligibility

To apply for the GradWISE program, you must be:

  • a domestic Federation University or TAFE student (or alumni)
  • in the second-last or last year of your studies (or have graduated within the last two years)
  • living with a disability, injury and/or illness
  • not be in full-time employment.

If you’re not eligible, you can still get free employment support from one of our career advisors.

What to expect

Experts will help you assess your strengths, make a career path plan and build your employability skills. You’ll get the opportunity to do work experience and further training, improve your resume and practise your interview technique. And the support doesn’t stop when you get a job – GradWISE staff can assist with workplace training and modifications.

The first six months of the GradWISE program might look a bit like this:
