What's involved?

As a Student Wellbeing Ambassadors Network member, you'll promote mental health, support wellbeing campaigns and events, engage with students, and help deliver activities across campus.
Get paid while gaining valuable experience
Help students feel supported and connected
Collaborate with staff members and peers 
Develop event management skills 

Checks and clearances

You'll require a Police Check, Working with Children Check and compliance with University policies on child safety and safeguarding. These will be paid by Federation University.

Working hours and pay

As a SWAN member, you’ll be employed in a casual paid position at HEW Level 2 and paid fortnightly. You’ll have flexible engagement across semesters, with hours covering meetings, campaigns, and outreach activities, typically over an approximate 18-week period each year.

After you apply

We'll go through the selection process, and email you the outcome on Y/in X days. If selected, you'll be required to attend mandatory induction training in person with your fellow SWAN members. You'll get a branded polo top, jumper and ID badge as well as resources to support your role.
