Student Wellbeing Ambassadors Network

What's involved?
Checks and clearances
You'll require a Police Check, Working with Children Check and compliance with University policies on child safety and safeguarding. These will be paid by Federation University.
Working hours and pay
As a SWAN member, you’ll be employed in a casual paid position at HEW Level 2 and paid fortnightly. You’ll have flexible engagement across semesters, with hours covering meetings, campaigns, and outreach activities, typically over an approximate 18-week period each year.
After you apply
We'll go through the selection process, and email you the outcome on Y/in X days. If selected, you'll be required to attend mandatory induction training in person with your fellow SWAN members. You'll get a branded polo top, jumper and ID badge as well as resources to support your role.
Make sure you give us your personal email address (as well as your student address) on the sign-up form so you don’t miss out on our emails.
