RISE Crew

What's involved?

As a RISE Crew member, you'll welcome new students, inform them about what's on and help them register for sport, competitions, and events.
 
You'll also set up information stalls and displays, help with games and activities and hand out merchandise and food.
Earn points for Emerging Leaders Program 
Help enhance the student experience  
Collaborate with staff members and peers 
Develop event management skills

Volunteering dates

You'll be rostered to help out on days and at times that suit you during:

  • Orientation, 23 - 27 February 2026 
  • Start of semester events, March 2026
  • Mid-Year Orientation, July 2026  

After you sign up

We’ll contact you in December-January to arrange a training session with your fellow RISE Crew members.  

The lunchtime sessions will take place at Berwick, Gippsland, and Mt Helen campuses between Tuesday 27 to Friday 30 January 2026. You’ll only need to attend one session, and we’ll confirm the details closer to the time.  

Make sure you give us your personal email address (as well as your student address) on the sign-up form so you don’t miss out on our emails.
