Respect Week
Respect Week is all about coming together to build a culture of respect, on campus and online. Join us for a week of events and activities.

Creating change starts with everyday actions.
Respect Week invites you to listen, learn, and speak up through a week of events focused on consent, respect, and safe, healthy relationships. Together, we can build a safer, more respectful community on campus and beyond.
Respect Week is a joint initiative of Victorian universities and TAFEs, working together to promote safe and respectful relationships.
Learn, reflect and take positive action
Across the week, you’ll explore what respect looks like in everyday life. From consent and healthy relationships to bystander action. Through interactive workshops, activities, and conversations, you’ll gain practical tools you can use on campus and beyond, and learn about the support available to you.
Events take place in a welcoming, supportive environment, with food, engaging activities, and opportunities to get involved.

Student voices, real impact
The Student Equity and Inclusion Network (SEIN) is made up of students from a wide range of backgrounds, identities and lived experiences. This group acts as an advisory committee, helping to shape initiatives, action plans and emerging priorities that advance equity and inclusion across the university.
